Ask the DEA to reschedule marijuana to a lower level to benefit greater access for research purposes 20 states and DC have legalized the medical use of marijuana.   Despite overwhelming support from both chambers of the House and Senate, Allen’s medical cannabis failed to receive a final vote from the Georgia State Senate on the last day of Session.  Allen has vowed to continue the fight for Georgia families.
Darn proud of my House colleagues for their courageous vote. And so grateful for all the families who worked tirelessly to see this bill reach this point. It has been a small miracle, and today is a huge step. Now on to the Senate!
