Runoff Election Early Voting Has Started

August 14, 2012

Ok Middle Georgia friends, early voting has started (yes, really) for the August 21 runoff. The consolidation vote was a HUGE victory for our community. Now we need to keep the momentum by re-electing Senator Miriam Paris in her runoff with David Lucas. We cannot return to divisive politics of the past, but must move forward with a leader who is committed to growing, not dividing Bibb County. Here’s the info you need:
-To determine if you are in Senate District 26, go to http://mvp.sos.state.ga.us/
-If you voted in the Republican primary on July 31, you CANNOT vote in this race.
-If you voted in the Democratic primary on July 31, you CAN vote again, and PLEASE make the effort to vote for Miriam.
-If you DID NOT vote at all on July 31, you CAN vote in the Democratic primary.

This runoff will be incredibly close, so every vote will be very important. PLEASE MAKE THE EFFORT TO VOTE. Let’s keep moving forward!!
